Virtual Innovation Tour is an event organised jointly by the IFRC Solferino Academy, I.O.Me Innovation lab of the Kenyan Red Cross Society and 21, the Social Innovation Accelerator of the French Red Cross. It is open for everyone in and outside of the RCRC network.
I.O.me is Kenya Red Cross Society’s Innovation and Fabrication Lab located in Lamu County, Kenya. It is a modern innovation workspace and makerspace that is equipped with an array of digital fabrication machines utilising various materials. The Lab aims to empower communities and innovators to enhance local skills and talent to create, build and improve solutions to strengthen resilience and economic empowerment.
21 is the Social Innovation Accelerator of the French Red Cross. Located on the first floor of the French Red Cross headquarters in Paris, it is a 1,000m² space hosting a set of entrepreneurial support programs to accelerate projects with a positive impact, a coworking space and a digital studio.
