The forum happened on Wednesday May 27th, 2020 11:30 - 13:00 CET onlineFirst the IFRC Health department director, Emanuele Capobianco, talked about how pandemics have transformed organisations and the world throughout history. Then people were able to choose one of the smaller breakout rooms to discuss a theme more profoundly. People from all around the planet shared their innovative approached to COVID-19 health responses, while designers Alice, Anna, Stefanie & Mari Eline listened and illustrated the insights.

Clinical health innovation
This group heard a presentation from Spain about making respiratory equipment from scuba masks and another one from Israel about new ways to do COVID-19 testing.
Mental health innovations
This group was introduced to psychosocial innovations from the IFRC Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support in Denmark, the Hong Kong Red Cross, Branch of the Red Cross Society of China and the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross.
WASH
In this group, the Kenya Red Cross talked about their DIY Handwashing Station Competition, and the Swiss Red Cross shared about a Handwashing campaign with a comedian.
