The Norwegian Red Cross is arranging a series of virtual lunchtime innovation speakers. The purpose of this series is to share, learn, and inspire.
This session’s event will be featuring an innovation project on novel materials for shelters and plastic recycling.
About the project
Waste for Warmth is a project lead by Engineers Without Borders Norway with the mission to keep displaced families warm throughout the cold winters. The project is now scaling up their innovative approach of transforming plastic waste into tent insulation that can be produced locally.
This meeting will feature Egil Niclaes Reksten, the project manager for Waste for Warmth at Engineers Without Borders Norway.
