Where your journey can begin
This can mark the beginning of your Limitless journey. Phase 1 is designed to help you look at your community with new eyes, understand real challenges, and begin shaping ideas that contribute to peace and positive change.
What you get:
- 🎓 Practical training on innovation, leadership, and a culture of peace, helping you connect local challenges with meaningful solutions.
- 🤝 Peer mentorship to support you in the identification of problems and the development of early innovation ideas.
- 🌍 A global community of young changemakers learning and growing together.
- 💡 Tools and guidance to transform community challenges into strong, purpose-driven ideas.
This phase is about building your skills, leadership, and vision—and preparing you for everything that comes next.
Note: Participation in Phase 1 is optional and recommended for those who feel they would benefit from additional guidance, structure, or inspiration. We strongly encourage participants to take part, as this phase can significantly help you strengthen and unlock the full potential of your ideas.
🔧 Phase 2 – From Ideas to Action
Testing, learning, and building your first prototype
Phase 2 is where your idea starts to become real. This phase is about moving from concepts to action—testing your solution in your community, learning from what works (and what doesn’t), and improving your initiative step by step.
What you get:
- 💰 Between CHF 150 – 250 in unconditional funding to design and test a basic prototype, with the flexibility to use it where your project needs it most.
- 🎓 Hands-on training on prototyping, testing, leadership, and a culture of peace, helping you strengthen both your solution and your role as a peace-builder.
- 🤝 Peer mentorship throughout the entire phase, focused on continuous improvement of your initiative.
- 🌍 Access to a global community of young innovators learning from each other in real time.
- 🌐 Access to a global network of expert advisors ready to solve the questions about your project.
- 🎤 During this phase, 5 teams will be selected to travel with all expenses covered to pitch their projects at the IFRC General Assembly 2026 in Geneva, sharing their ideas with leaders and partners from across the global network.
Phase 2 is about learning by doing—testing your idea in the real world, adapting it with your community, and building the foundation for long-term impact.
🚀 Phase 3 – Strengthening and Scaling Your Solution
Going deeper, building stronger, thinking long-term
Phase 3 is for teams that are ready to take their projects to the next level. This phase focuses on strengthening your solution, deepening your leadership, and preparing your initiative to grow in a sustainable way.
What you get:
- 💰 CHF 1,000 – 1,500 in unconditional funding, giving you the flexibility to strengthen and expand your prototype where it is most needed.
- 🎓 Advanced training facilitated by universities from different regions, focused on advanced prototyping, sustainability, leadership, and a culture of peace.
- 🤝 Peer mentorship facilitated by IFRC Innovation Leads, supporting you throughout the phase as you refine and improve your initiative.
- 🧠 Dedicated expert mentors, assigned exclusively to your project to provide tailored, in-depth guidance.
- 🌐 Access to a global advisor network, where you can get direct answers to your questions and challenges related to your project.
- ✈️ During this phase, 5 teams will be selected to travel with all expenses covered to pitch their projects at DIHAD 2027 in Dubai, connecting with global partners, innovators, and decision-makers
Phase 3 is about turning strong ideas into solid, scalable solutions—and stepping confidently into your role as a young leader shaping peace and change in your community.
🌍 Phase 4 – Growing Impact and Going Global
From strong projects to lasting change
Phase 4 is the final stage of the Limitless journey. This is where the most promising initiatives receive the support needed to move from pilots to full implementation—deepening impact, strengthening sustainability, and expanding their reach.
What you get:
- 🏆 Between CHF 5,000 – 10,000 for 5 teams in unconditional funding for full project implementation, allowing teams to focus on what matters most: delivering impact in their communities.
- 🚀 Access to the Limitless Accelerator for 5 awarded teams, providing intensive support to strengthen scalability, sustainability, and long-term growth.
- 🌐 Continued access to the global advisor network, supporting teams with strategic guidance, problem-solving, and expert insights as projects grow.
- 🤝 Strategic connections across the IFRC network and beyond, designed to help teams access additional funding opportunities and strengthen their capacities for long-term project development.
- 🌟 High-level visibility across the IFRC global network and partner networks, amplifying your work and opening doors to new collaborations and support
Extra opportunities for Limitless Participants:
- 🚀 5 additional projects will also gain access to the Limitless Accelerator, expanding acceleration support beyond the final awardees.
- 💼 2 participants will be selected for a paid 6-month internship with the IFRC Solferino Academy, gaining hands-on experience in communications and global innovation.
- 1 team per region will have access to a regional acceleration mentorship run by a regional partner to scale their projects.
- 🎓 Participants who successfully complete the trainings and the development and implementation of their projects will receive a certificate, recognizing the knowledge, skills, and capacities they have built throughout the Limitless journey.
Phase 4 is about turning youth-led innovation into lasting systems of change—and positioning young leaders at the center of peacebuilding and humanitarian innovation.
🌱 Additional Opportunity for the Limitless Community
In partnership with DIHAD, Limitless will award three full scholarships to study a Master’s degree in Sustainable Humanitarian Development, recognizing outstanding commitment, leadership, and impact within the Limitless community.
