2021 graduation assignments

Six months into the fellowship, the fellows started working on their graduation assignment. The purpose was to put their newly gained skills and experiences into practice by working on a transformative change, each in their own National Society.

The fellows started by conducting in depth interviews with people at all levels in their National Society to investigate the ‘problem space’ and to select and frame their problem.They then proceeded to a prototyping process to design, get feedback and iterate on solutions to this problem.

The FutureFellows 2021 plenary sessions and workshops have been geared towards understanding how to move initiatives forward politically, as the landing of the initiative is often as – or even more – important as the invention of a great idea. All throughout the fellowship, the teams and the fellowship coaches have also been giving peer support and challenging the fellows constructively. We’d like to congratulate the 2021 cohort for creating and driving such creative, courageous and ambitious initiatives, which we are convinced will make their National Society a better organisation. It’s also been great to hear how some National Societies have already pledged support to continue the work that the fellows have started. We can’t wait to see what these rising stars do next!
