We wrote a book with 200 Contributors and 120 pieces of content!

Wow! Over the past 11 months, we’ve been digging into ‘data is a teamsport’ with special events (sprints), learning and training. All this collaboration and social learning has resulted in us creating an updated IFRC Data Playbook version 1. The original IFRC Data Playbook Beta was published in 2018 and continues to be in use around our network. With Strategy 2030 citing digital transformation as a priority, our team set out to update the Data Playbook and align it with the IFRC Digital transformation maturity model.

Pilot with us – Data is a team sport (updated)

Data is a team sport. Across the IFRC and National Societies, we use data and data literacy in our delivery of humanitarian services. Often, it isn’t always considered ‘data work’, but if you think about it – we connect with communities, listen and support humanitarian services, and frequently analyse and document our efforts with feedback loops. We’ve curated and created the IFRC Data Playbook as a social learning tool of games, checklists, sessions, slides and scenarios to guide team conversations on their data journey.

The IFRC Data Playbook is a collection of social learning materials for developing data skills for groups or teams. The RCRC network has incredible knowledge and skills. The IFRC Data Playbook is created by you for all of us. Thus, You are the data playbook – we curate and create with you to help our network on the RCRC data journey.
